People and leadership fascinate me. Every coordinates system – in family-owned enterprises, major groups of companies, politics or even in digital working environments – is different. Good leadership requires professional qualifications and management competence, but first and foremost, personality and leadership style must fit with the relevant company and its culture. The right people in the right positions makes all the difference here. Finding the right person – that is my goal. Staffing top positions with exactly the right fit requires a systematic market evaluation and a smart selection process. At the same time, this should always include a certain level of ease – I lead executive searches to success with this conviction.
I have been working as a personnel consultant for 15 years now. Initially, as a partner in an international HR consulting firm, I was responsible for the financial services sector with focus on C-level positions in banks and insurance companies as well as CFO searches. I have also been supporting associations in Munich, Berlin and Brussels in filling management positions for several years. Today, I am an entrepreneur myself and primarily advise large and medium-sized family-owned businesses. In addition to professionalism and experience, commitment, loyalty and trust are particularly important to me in personal cooperation. I am aware of my responsibility towards clients and candidates and support them as an honest sparring partner.
I bring along extensive management know-how to personnel consulting. After completing my studies in law in Würzburg and Great Britain with positions at the German Federal Parliament (Bundestag) and the United Nations as well as obtaining my doctorate in international law, I began my professional career as an assistant to the board of directors at the Allianz Group. I took over the management of various sales regions and strategic management responsibilities there within the framework of the integration of Dresdner Bank into the Allianz Group. In politics, I have held various mandates at municipal and state level.
I am married, have two children and am interested in politics, cultures and contemporary art.
