Initiator of the award is beside the DIND also the DUP UNTERNEHMER magazine. Patron of the initiative is DUP UNTERNEHMER editor Brigitte Zypries, former Federal Minister of Economics.

The German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitization examines companies for their innovative strength, the status of modern digital transformation, employee friendliness, modern leadership, and strategies for recruiting. The focus is on the topic of future viability with all its facets – economic, ecological, social and digital. Because today, more than ever, trends such as digitalization, innovative strength and sustainability determine the future viability of companies. And HEADSAHEAD has now also been awarded the “Employer of the Future” distinction based on the DIND’s three-stage review process.
