I learned early on that I can quickly adapt to new environments: At the start of my career, I was literally thrown in at the deep end to build up sales in Africa. I traveled extensively throughout the region, worked directly on-site in underground mining operations, and learned firsthand what matters in practice. This time shaped me and showed me how important it is to be open to completely new experiences. My passion for global perspectives led me to study at universities in Durham, Maastricht, and Singapore. This international experience enables me today to navigate global corporate structures with agility and interpret cultural nuances with precision. My professional background lies in consulting-intensive sales—including at Hilti AG—where I learned to precisely identify complex requirements and translate them into solutions. I have been applying this expertise in HR consulting for several years now. As a reserve officer, I also bring a structured approach to my work and the clarity needed to make difficult decisions. My entrepreneurial mindset extends beyond executive search: I am a co-founder of a specialized investment fund for dressage horses. When it comes to taking on responsibility, I find a sense of grounding in my volunteer work as a member and representative of the Johanniter Hilfsgemeinschaften.

Privately, I live in Düsseldorf with my wife and our two children. As a Düsseldorf resident by choice, I always see the glass as half full, and a healthy dose of humor is simply part of the job for me. When I need to unwind, I prefer to do so while sailing, behind the wheel of my old MG, in the kitchen, or on outings with the kids—there are plenty of options!
